Baruntse is one the most significant
peak lying close to Makalu, other 6,000m
smaller peaks and between the Barun,
Hongu and Imjatse valley of Khumbu. Geoff
Harrow and Colin Todd first climbed this
peak on 30th May 1954 by the South East
Ridge, which we use for our ascent too.
Our
expedition starts from Lukla and then
trek towards the Hinku valley to Base
Camp and then after the successful ascent
return via Amphulaptsa to Khumbu to make
this expedition a memorable one.
