South Asia Trekking (SAT), registered under the Nepal Government, Ministry of Tourism and Industry was founded by Nga Temba Sherpa , a native from the Everest region to promote adventure tourism in Nepal and bordering Himalayan Kingdoms. He has been in the field of mountaineering and other adventure activities since 1974. During these three decades, he has summited the Mt. Everest four times, Kangchenjunga, Makalu etc…and has touched most of the high mountain summits of Nepal , Tibet and Pakistan . Being highly skilled and sound physique he has experience of more than 26 successful mountaineering expeditions in the highest mountains of the world. An American mountaineer once called him also the "World's strongest man"! He has received several awards and appreciation by the government of Nepal , India / Sikkim and the international community for his contribution in mountaineering. He has also worked with world famous mountaineers. |

The Managing Director has been involved in trekking and mountaineering since the age of fourteen and climbed the Everest at the age of twenty-two including other mountains in the Himalayas, the Alps and the Rocky mountains has introduced a new chapter in the history of Nepal 's mountain tourism and to his community. Fluent in English, French, Indian, Nepali and Sherpa languages, Rinchen posses excessive knowledge of Himalayan travel.

Operation Director has been in the field of trekking and mountaineering with many successful ascents, which include five times to the summit of the world's highest mountain the Everest (8,848m/29,028ft.), Cho Oyu , Himlung Himal and many more to count. |

Manager; known as Push in tourism field completed the course for Tour Officer (Tour & Trek Operation) and Ticketing Officer in 1997. He started his career from Adventure Travel Nepal, Tiger Mountain Group as a Tour Executive. He has also worked as professional photographer for various Nepali vernacular weekly newspapers and the member of “Federation of Nepalese Journalists”. As a social worker and consultant-Photographer, he is also associated with Save the Children-UK/Norway. |

Management consultant. Master in Business Administration began tourism profession after receiving Tourist Guide Training from Nepal government in 1981. Then he joined Adventure Travel, Tiger Mountain Group (1981-1993). Being highly versatile he is related with Nepal Tourism Board for Sustainable Tourism Network, faculty of travel and tourism in tourism collages and tourism management consultant. He is always ready to share his deep understanding of Nepal and its myriad culture. Fluent in English, Hindi, Nepali, Spanish, Mr. Ghimire has published four books to support this tourism students and clients. |
